Tenerife will be the official venue for the world final of the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) that will take place from October 17 to 21. It is one of the largest corporate golf tournaments in the world. The competition will take place on the Golf Costa Adeje course and will attract more than a hundred players and guests from more than 30 countries.
In addition to the world final, Tenerife will host, in parallel, the Sports Legends Cup, a tournament organized by the WCGC that will bring together international figures from different sports disciplines at the Abama Golf course.
From the WCGC its president, Jose Guerra, acknowledges being “delighted” to be able to bring the world final of the World Corporate Golf Challenge and the Sports Legends Cup to Tenerife for the first time, according to the note from the Cabildo.
The World Corporate Golf Challenge has grown to the point where more than a million golfers from 50 nationalities have taken part since its inception in 1993.
